Visit the Luxor Temple, dedicated to the worship of the god Amun and his wife. It was built during the Middle Kingdom of ancient Egyptian history, particularly during the reign of King Amenhotep III. Next to the Luxor Temple is the Avenue of Sphinxes, home to statues resembling the Sphinx.
