- Visit the Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the worship of the god Amun and his wife. It was built in the Middle Ages of ancient Egyptian history during the reign of King Amenhotep III. Next to the Luxor Temple is the Avenue of Sphinxes for some small statues resembling the Sphinx.
