Available all days

Start your journey early in the morning as you meet our representative at your Sharm El Sheikh hotel for a comfortable transfer to St. Catherine, home to the oldest active Christian monastery in the world.

Nestled at the foot of Mount Sinai, St. Catherine’s Monastery is a site of profound spiritual and historical importance. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002, the monastery is a sacred landmark for the three monotheistic religions. It features remarkable Byzantine architecture, and is home to a priceless library containing one of the world’s most significant collections of ancient manuscripts and religious icons—second only to the Vatican.

According to Christian tradition, this is also the site of the Biblical Burning Bush, where God is said to have spoken to Moses, making it one of the most revered spots in Christianity.

After exploring the monastery and soaking in its serene, spiritual atmosphere, you’ll continue to the laid-back seaside town of Dahab, where you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with views of the Red Sea.

Following lunch and some free time to explore or shop, you’ll return to Sharm El Sheikh in the afternoon.
