Package Itinerary
DAY 1 – Welcome to Cairo
When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, one of our tour representatives will meet and transfer you to the hotel where you will be staying during your time in Cairo.
After this you will have the rest of the day free to enjoy as your wish
DAY 2 – Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Khan el Khalili
Enjoy a good breakfast at your hotel, Your first stop of the day will be at the Giza plateau to see the iconic pyramids and the Great Sphinx. You will also have access to the Valley Temple and an opportunity to enjoy a short camel ride although camel rides are not included.
After your visit to the pyramids you will then be taken to a good local authentic Egyptian restaurant for some lunch. Once you have finished enjoying your meal you will visit the world famous Egyptian Museum which is home to more than 100,000 breathtaking relics.
Assuming there is enough time left after your visit to the museum, you will then make your way to an area of the city known as Islamic Cairo where you will visit the famous Khan el Kalili Bazaar which has been around since the late 14th century. Enjoy some time exploring, and then it will be time for you to be transferred back to your hotel where you will be spending this.
DAY 3 – Flight to Luxor, Nile Cruise Embarkation and East Bank Tour
Wake up and enjoy a nice breakfast before checking out from your hotel in Cairo.
After checking out, you’ll be transferred to Cairo airport to board an Egypt Air flight to Luxor where you’ll once again met on arrival.
Our tour representative will then take you to check in and board the boat for your Nile River cruise from Luxor to Aswan.
After lunch, you will be taken for a short tour to see the Karnak Temple complex and also the Luxor Temple, both of which are located on Luxor’s East Bank.
After your East Bank tour, you will then return to your cruise boat.
Dinner will be served on board, and you will be spending this night of your cruise on the river at Luxor.
DAY 4 – Luxor West Bank and Leisure Cruise to Edfu
After enjoying a pleasant breakfast, you’ll be taken for a tour of the West Bank to see the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings.
Following this will be a visit to the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Your tour guide will then take you to see the Colossi of Memnon, after which you’ll return to your cruise ship for lunch.
Once everyone has enjoyed lunch, you’ll set sail for Edfu, and you’ll be served a lovely dinner onboard.
After dinner, you can stay at the beath-taking view of the night sky.
Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo
After a delightful breakfast on board breakfast, your tour guide will take you and your group to see the Edfu Temple, the best preserved ancient temple in Egypt.
Following your tour to the temple, you’ll then cruise to Kom Ombo to see the Temple of Kom Ombo.
Lunch will then be served back on board the cruise boat as it sets sail for Aswan. Enjoy dinner and spend another night on board as your cruise, this time on the water at Aswan
Day 6: Sightseeing in Aswan
After you’ve enjoyed an on board breakfast. This will start with a trip to the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt which is also home to the world’s largest Obelisk, the Unfinished Obelisk, followed by a visit to Temple of Philae.
Once the sun begins to set, you’ll be served dinner back on board your boat, where you’ll also be spending the final night of your cruise package.
DAY 7 – Return to Cairo and Optional Abu Simbel Tour
After breakfast you will check-out and you will disembark, and then you will be taken to the airport for your flight (included) back to Cairo.
However, you can also choose to go for an optional tour (not included) to the famous rock-carved Abu Simbel Temples, in which case you will return to Cairo after your tour.
As usual, you will be met at the airport in Cairo, and you will then be driven to the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Egypt.
DAY 8 – Cruise Disembarkation and Return to Cairo
Shortly after you have enjoyed your breakfast it will be time to check out and disembark so that you can be transferred to the airport to board a short domestic flight to Cairo.
You can either have the remainder of the day free to enjoy as you wish, or you can join an optional group tour by coach to Abu Simbel to see the magnificent rock cut temples of Ramses.
On arrival at the airport in Cairo you will be met by your tour manager and you’ll be transferred to the hotel where you’ll be spending your final night in Egypt.
DAY 9 – Fly to Riyadh
Enjoy a good hotel breakfast and then at the appropriate time your tour manager will arrive, check out, drive you to the airport in time for you to board your flight to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
When you land in Riyadh one of our tour representatives will be standing by to meet escort you to the hotel where you will be staying.
On arrival at the hotel you will be assisted with check-in, You will then have the rest of the day free to enjoy as you wish.
DAY 10 – Riyadh Sightseeing Day Tour
Enjoy a good breakfast at your hotel, and then you will be picked up for a full day of sightseeing. Your first stop today will be at Diriyyah, a world heritage listed site located on the outskirts of Riyadh. Diriyyah is considered to be the birthplace of the first Saudi state and is today home to the Saudi royal family.
Next, enjoy a leisurely walk through the Old Town to admire its many ancient ruins, including what was once an absolutely splendid palace.
From here you will continue on to Riyadh’s Old Quarter to see the Masmak Fort. This impressive fortress. during the reign of Abdullah bin Rashid.
After your visit to the fort you will then head to the Dirah Souq, a market which is renowned for its colorful and high quality textiles. Spend some time exploring the market and then you’ll be taken to a good quality authentic Saudi Arabian restaurant for some lunch.
After lunch you will then visit the National Museum which is not only a national treasure, but also a UNESCO world heritage site. The museum’s 8 galleries tell the complete story of Saudi Arabia’s rich and fascinating history, beginning with the creation of the universe all the way up to the modern era.
Next, you will make your way to Murabba Palace. The Palace was built to serve as a family dwelling, and along with the main palace, there are also several smaller palaces, service buildings, and the Royal Diwan.
Once you’re done here you will then be transferred back to your hotel where you will be spending this night.
DAY 11 – Fly to Al-Ula and Al-Ula Sightseeing
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, you will check out and you will be transferred to the airport to board a short domestic flight to Al-Ula. When you arrive at the airport in Al-Ula, you will be met, and then your Al-Ula day tour will begin.
Your first stop of the day will be at Madain Saleh, a UNESCO world heritage listed site. During ancient times, the city was known as Al Hegra and it was the southernmost settlement of the Nabatean Kingdom. It was also a major stopover point on what was once a very prosperous trade route, the site today is best known for its s many ancient relics and rock-cut tombs.
During your visit you will visit some of the most popular attractions, including Al Farid Palace, Qasr Al Bint, Diwan Tomb, Nabatean Well, and a very well preserved railway station.
After you have finished exploring Madain Saleh, you will then be taken to a good authentic Saudi Arabian restaurant for some lunch.
If there is enough time left after lunch you will make your way to Harrat Uairedh which is the town’s highest point. Enjoy some Arabic tea or coffee and some dates while at the same time enjoying absolutely breathtaking panoramic views of your surroundings.
After a wonderful day of sightseeing, you will then be driven to the hotel where you will be spending the night.
DAY 12 – Al-Ula Full Day Sightseeing Tour
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then your guide will meet you and you will be taken to visit Dadan and Jabal Ikmah, both of which are world heritage listed sites. Dadan was the capital of the Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms, while Jabal Ikmah is today most often described as a massive open air museum that is renowned for its vast amount of varied inscriptions.
Dadan is also home to more than 10 ancient rock cut tombs with the most famous being the “Lions Tombs. These seated lion sculptures mark the burial sites of those who were once elite members of society.
Next, you will visit the Old Town where you will enjoy a liesurely stroll through the oasis and some farms. During your walk you will also meet up with a local family to enjoy some tea before visiting the area’s iconic Elephant Rock.
This will be your last stop of the day before heading back to your hotel.
DAY 13 – Transfer from Al-Ula to Jeddah by Air
Enjoy breakfast, check out so that we can drive you to the airport in time for you to board a short domestic flight to Jeddah.
On arrival at the airport in Jeddah, one of our tour representatives meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
After this you’ll be left on your own to enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.
DAY 14 – Madinah Sightseeing Tour
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then you will be picked up and you will be driven to the train station to board a train to Madinah.
When you arrive at the train station in Madinah, your private speaking guide will meet you and then escort you on a sightseeing tour. During your tour you will visit the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization. You will also visit Qiba Street which connects two mosques: the Holy Mosque and the Qiba Mosque.
Next, you will visit Souq Taiba, and then you will be taken to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the area’s five star hotels that overlook the beautiful Prophet Mohamed Mosque. Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter the mosque but you will still be able to admire it from the outside.
After lunch you will be driven to the train station where you will once again board a high-speed train, this time back to Jeddah.
On arrival at the station in Jeddah you will be met and then you will immediately be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 15 – Jeddah Sightseeing Tour
Enjoy breakfast and then you will visit the privately owned Tayebat Museum. The museum, which is spread out over four floors, is home to several impressive displays.
Next, you will visit the Jeddah Open Air Museum which is located on a very picturesque area on the new corniche. This fascinating museum is home to one of the largest collection of models. From here you will be taken to see the “floating mosque” which appears to be floating on the surface of some nearby water.
Enjoy a short break at this site to take in absolutely stunning views of the Red Sea, and then you will make your way to King Fahd’s Fountain which is also known as the Jeddah Fountain. It is the tallest fountain of its kind in the world, propelling water from the Red Sea.
After your visit to the fountain you will then make your way to Al-Balad (Old Town) to see some old original Ottoman houses that were made from coral and reinforced with wooden beams.
With your day tour now over, you will head back to your hotel where you’ll be spending the final night.
DAY 16– Discover Egypt and Saudi Arabia Tours End
Enjoy one last breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time our tour representative will meet you and assist you with check out, and then transfer you to the airport in time for you to board your flight out of Saudi Arabia.
